Dunbia rolled out the Hanzl eco hand towel system at their meat processing plant in South Wales. This led to significant operational savings & efficiencies across the whole facility; namely:
- a 49% reduction in consumable costs,
- a 48% reduction in time spent reloading dispensers by the cleaning staff,
- a 48% reduction in storage space taken up by hand towels,
- and a massive 59% reduction in paper used!
These savings also directly lead to a massive decrease in waste sent to landfill, therefore reducing waste collection costs, and reducing carbon footprint. Plus, as the hand towel rolls are made from fully recycled cardboard, and are not bleached with extra chemicals, the plant also made a considerable environmental improvement to their operation by switching to the Hanzl system!
