The New Simpler Recycling Rules For Recycling

From 31st March 2025, the new Simpler Recycling law requires all businesses in England to sort their waste differently for recycling.

Workplaces will need to sort their recycling into 4 waste streams for:

  • Residual (non-recyclable) waste
  • Food waste
  • Paper and card
  • All other dry recyclable materials (plastic, metal and glass)
