This product warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the warranty coverage for products that have been purchased from Unisan Ltd and used within the United Kingdom. - Warranty Coverage:
All products purchase from Unisan Ltd have a standard 1-year (12 months in total) warranty from the date of your original purchase (The effective date on your invoice). The warranty is applicable to the original purchaser only. For faults arising within this period that are caused by manufacturing defects (workmanship or materials).
An extended 3-year (36 months in total) warranty is available for the following Unisort products:
- Unisort Climate Recycling Stations.
- Unisort Aspire Recycling Stations.
- Unisort Cup Collector Recycling Stations.
The extended 3-year warranty is only applicable if the products are registered using this warranty form and submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date on your invoice.
Recycled raw materials.
- The colours of our products may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the nature of the recycled materials and feedstocks used to manufacture these products.
- The products are manufactured from recycled materials, so they may have slight imperfections and marks due to the recycling processes involved.
- Warranty Claims:
a) To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must provide proof of purchase (copy of original invoice) indicating the date of purchase. All claims must be submitted within the date term above, any claims made outside this period will not be considered.
b) Warranty claims must be submitted (along with detailed photos of claim and written details explaining the fault) within the warranty period.
c) Claims should be made to Unisan Ltd’s customer service department via email, as provided below.
- Warranty Exclusions:
Any damage caused to the products by misuse, abuse, negligence, vandalism or accidental loss, including, but not limited to the points below, are not covered by our warranty:
a) Dramatic or excessive temperature variations, dampness, humidity, or exposure to direct sunlight.
b) Misplacement and incorrect location or moving products over obstacles such as kerbs or door thresholds.
c) Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
d) Improper installation or maintenance.
e) Use of the product for purposes other than its intended function.
f) Damage caused by third party couriers and transport companies.
g) Wear & tear from during normal use.
h) Natural disasters, acts of God, or any other external causes beyond Unisort’s control.
- Warranty Remedies:
Upon validation of a warranty claim, Unisan Ltd will, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following remedies:
a) Provide spare parts.
b) Repair faulty products.
c) Replace the defective product with an equivalent model.
d) Provide a refund for the original purchase price.
- Limitation of Liability:
a) Unisan Ltd’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product as specified above.
b) In no event shall Unisan Ltd be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use, or inability to use the product.
- Statutory Rights:
This warranty policy does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer under applicable consumer protection laws, as governed in UK law.
- Transferability:
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
- Modifications to the Warranty Policy:
Unisan Ltd reserves the right to modify or amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
